No matter what tier your vehicles are, there’s an easy way to make them more formidable in battle: by installing Equipment!
Equipment is a modification that you can install on any tank to improve its performance. Unless you choose to uninstall it, Equipment becomes a permanent part of your tank.
In earlier versions of the game, the Equipment system in World of Tanks Console featured different items with different effects. In the current version, any tanks that players owned before the update had their Equipment upgraded to their new versions. If a tank would end up with two of the same equipment items, one would be refunded for 100% of its value.
Every tank has four slots for Equipment in the current system. Each slot can hold only one piece of equipment, and you can install only one of each type of Equipment on a tank—no duplicates!
Existing tanks that players carry over from earlier versions of World of Tanks Console as well as all newly purchased Premium tanks, WWII and Era 1 of Cold War will start with the Enhanced Target Info item installed by default. This item can be removed at no cost or credit to the player. For Era 2 and 3 you will need to purchase this for 500,000 Silver
Other pieces of Equipment can be acquired using Silver from the “Loadout” tab in your tank’s Customization menu.
If you change your mind later, no problem! You can sell Equipment for 50% of its Silver purchase price.
