Get ready, tankers… the upgrade to the visual elements of our battle maps that began earlier this year continues now! We’ve made the following improvements for our latest update:
- Increased the number of trees and bushes for more cover points
- Replaced smooth terrain with geometric rocks and cliffs for a more natural look
- Added all-new trees and vegetation with PBR materials and light transmission for more realistic surfaces
- Improved local ambient lighting for more dynamic range
- Updated the tone mapper for more accurate lighting
- Improved anti-aliasing
- Improved the lighting on particle FX
