TankerBrawl Tournament Rules
1. Main provisions
1.1.1. Teams are added to the Tournament in the order in which they registered. After the Tournament has started, no changes to team members are allowed. Teams register in the TOURNAMENTS section of the WoT CONSOLE Discord channel.
1.1.2. When registering, please include your team’s name (required) and links to the stat pages of every player (or their nicknames). Any teams that do not include their name will not be allowed to participate in the Tournament.
1.1.3. Battle format within a match:
- “Draw is allowed”—if no team wins the battle, the result is a draw.
1.1.4. Team composition: 7 players + 1 bench player (optional).
1.1.5. Match time: 10 minutes.
1.1.6. All battles take place in training rooms.
Requirements for the roster
22.214.171.124. Teams may be composed of players from different platforms (Xbox or PS4). Team members may belong to different clans or to no clan. For example, a team may be composed of 4 PS4 users and 3 Xbox users; 2 players aren’t in a clan, and 5 others belong to different clans.
126.96.36.199. Teams may be composed of vehicles of different nations.
1.1.8. Premium vehicles, Premium ammo and Premium consumables are allowed.
1.1.9. Total tier of vehicles on a team: up to 70.
1.1.10. Only 1 lineup is allowed: 7 Tier Х vehicles.
1.1.11. No more than 3 identical vehicles within a team are allowed.
1.1.12. Any team that breaks the abovementioned rule is considered for a technical defeat of the battle (except for “right to make a mistake” cases—see “Violations and punishment”). If both teams selected ineligible vehicles, a replay of the match is arranged.
1.1.13. If an incomplete team enters the battle and the bench player cannot join before the battle starts, the team will start the battle incomplete.
Group stage victory conditions
1.1.14. The first team to achieve 2 victories wins the match.
1.1.15. The winner is automatically determined by the in-game system based on the Multi-Base Assault mode rules.
If the teams have more than 2 replays within a round, it is considered a technical draw (0:0).
1.1.16. The Administration undertakes to publish the initial team respawn points in the TOURNAMENTS section of the WoT CONSOLE Discord channel.
1.1.17. If the teams win an equal number of battles (1:1), a tiebreak is organized to determine the winner of the match.
1.1.18. The tiebreak system is used only when it is necessary to determine the winner when neither team earned enough points to win within a given match.
1.1.19. Tiebreak maps and respawn points are determined by the Administration just before the match.
1.1.20. The tiebreak round is held according to the Encounter mode rules. Victory is automatically determined by the in-game system according to the Encounter mode rules.
1.1.21. The winner of a tiebreak battle is considered the winner of the match. In case of a draw in the tiebreak, one more battle is held on the same map, but the teams swap respawn points.
Playoff victory conditions
1.1.22. The first team to win 3 battles (7 battles for the Finals) is the winner of the match. The team that loses the playoff round is eliminated from the Tournament.
1.1.23. The winner is automatically determined by the in-game system based on the Multi-Base Assault mode rules.
The team that is listed higher in the Bracket chooses the map in the Multi-Base Assault mode. 2 battles are held on this map. In the first battle, the team that is listed higher in the Bracket plays defense, and in the second one plays offense. After that, the team that is listed lower in the Bracket chooses the map and plays defense in the first battle and offense in the second battle (if needed). In the case of a 2:2 score, a tiebreak is required in the Encounter mode.
If the teams had more than 2 replays within the playoff stage, both teams are eliminated from the Tournament (this rule doesn’t apply to the Finals).
1.1.24. The Administration undertakes to publish the initial team respawn points in the TOURNAMENTS section of the WoT CONSOLE Discord channel.
2. Additional provisions
How the Tournament is conducted
2.1.1. The Tournament is held in 2 stages. Teams finishing in 1st to 8th place move on to the second (playoff) stage automatically.
2.1.2. The first stage of the Tournament is held according to the Swiss system; the teams fall into the same Bracket without being divided into groups. The number of rounds in the preliminaries depends on the number of the teams that participate in the Tournament (17–32 teams: 7 rounds, 33–64 teams: 8 rounds). If fewer than 17 teams register, the Tournament will be cancelled!
2.1.3. The bench player can replace any core player in any battle in a vehicle permitted by the Rules.
2.1.4. Any number of teams can participate in the Tournament, but not fewer than 17.
2.1.5. Places in the standings are determined according to the number of victories and the total points scored in each match:
- 2:0 victory: 3 points for the winning team, 0 points for the losing team.
- 2:1 victory: 2 points for the winning team, 1 point for the losing team.
If 2 or more teams win the same number of matches, places in the standings are determined as follows:
- by the number of points earned;
- by the results of all personal matches between rivals;
- if these results are equal, the Administration makes the decision.
2.1.6. Battle start time for the preliminaries: 15:00 (UTC) / 18:00 (MSK). Round duration: 60 minutes. 4 rounds are held per day.
2.1.7. The official map list will be announced by the Administration immediately before the start of the Tournament. The map lists for each round will be announced separately.
188.8.131.52. After the first battle, the teams swap respawn points and play on the same map. If the match score after 2 games is 1:1, then a tiebreak is held (the map will be determined by the Administration).
All battles are held in the Multi-Base Assault mode, except for tiebreaks. Tiebreaks are held in the Encounter mode.
Teams have 5 minutes to select vehicles. The creator of the training room gives Spectator status to all participants, who then have 5 minutes to choose their vehicles. When this time is up, the creator of the training room removes the Spectator status from all participants, and they may no longer change vehicles or the parameters of the room. If a team member hasn’t selected a vehicle in time, the team plays without them. If the creator of the room changes the parameters of the room after the Spectator statuses are removed, the team for which the creator of the room is playing is considered for a technical defeat.
3. Violations and punishment
Each team in the Tournament has the “right to make a mistake”. This means that, once per battle day, a team can break the Rules (for example, start a battle with incorrect room settings, choose 4 identical tanks, start a battle ahead of time, etc.). The team that violates the Rules isn’t considered for technical defeat, and the battle is replayed instead.
Any violation of the Rules can result in a punishment (for example, a defeat in battle or disqualification from the Tournament). The punishment is determined by the Tournament coordinator and cannot be appealed.
The Administration reserves the right to refuse a user to participate in the Tournament without explanation.
