K9 Veterans Day: We Salute Our Canine Companions

Military service dogs: no matter how ruff the situation, they remain loyal and intelligent companions to members of the armed forces.

On March 13th, 1942, the United States initiated the military training program that became known as the “K9 Corps.” Today, we honor March 13th as K9 Veterans Day to celebrate these unique troops.

Our in-game celebration begins on Friday, March 10th. It features the Szarik and Jan Kos characters from the classic Polish TV show Four Tank-Men and a Dog and gives you several ways to enlist them and their legendary tank as part of your own forces!

“Life is better with a dog,” says the quote. This is true even of the moments you spend on the virtual battlefield.

This Earn Challenge rewards you with the unique Szarik & Jan Kos 2D Standard Commander, letting you put the German shepherd Szarik and tanker companion Jan Kos in charge of your favorite tank.

And yes, it does have unique voiceover. You won’t find any other Commander that barks in the game.
