As the new WAR HEROES season begins, so does your next assignment: to collect.

The War Heroes Legends Event is your definitive “side-quest” to your tanking in World of Tanks Modern Armor. You’ll progress through four themed events based on real-life occasions (D-Day, Tankfest, 4th of July, and Bastille Day).

In doing so, you’ll collect Battle Tokens that you can use to unlock Commander trading cards through the event’s website. These cards will eventually grant you their associated in-game Commander along with each Commander’s backstory once you fully unlock them.

You’ll also earn themed rewards in game as you complete each of the four events.

So, ready to unwrap your first Commander pack and jump into the action?

Here’s the summary of how the event works:

• Complete the War Heroes Legends Main Challenge in game to earn Battle Tokens as well as in-game rewards.
• Use Battle Tokens on the War Heroes Legends website to open packs of Commander cards.
• There are four card collections based on real-world events and celebrations: D-Day, Tankfest, 4th of July, and Bastille Day.
• Each collection contains five Commander cards. You’ll unlock a card after collecting the three parts that compose it (ex: collect 3 Rommels = Rommel card).
• Once you’ve unlocked a card, you’ll receive its 2D or 3D Commander in-game.
• After completing a card collection (unlock its five Commanders), you can claim an additional themed reward by clicking CLAIM on the website.
• If you unlock all 20 Commanders (five per collection), you’ll be able to choose one of four final reward tanks.

How to Earn Battle Tokens: War Heroes Legends Main Challenge and More

Battle Tokens are used to open packs of collectible Commander trading cards, which you can do only on the War Heroes Legends event website.

To earn Battle Tokens, take on the War Heroes Legends Main Challenge in the game:

Battle Tokens can be earned by playing with any tank in both World War II and Cold War modes and in both Multiplayer and Co-Op modes.

You can earn additional Battle Tokens the following ways:

• Get a Battle Token the first time you log in to the website. You’ll receive this right away when you first log in!
• Participate in social media activities. Follow our main channels and Community Contributors and be on the lookout for free Tokens.
• Destroy duplicate Commander cards. You can only do this once per day (an in-event day goes from 00:01 UTC until 23:59 UTC)

Important note! Except for the Token you receive upon your first login, Battle Tokens are not credited to your account on the War Heroes Legends site immediately. They will appear in your account at 10:00 UTC the day after you earn them.

If you haven’t been credited your Battle Tokens by 10:00 UTC the following day, please wait another day. If this issue persists, please contact Player Support: https://console.worldoftanks.com/support/en/products/wotx/

Commander Cards

The Battle Tokens you receive will stay in your account throughout the entire event until you spend them. Once you receive a Battle Token, you can use it like currency on the official website to open a pack of Commander cards. There are four card collections: D-Day, Tankfest, 4th of July, and Bastille Day. Be sure to click on the tab for the collection you want to open card packs for!

You have a total of 20 unique Commander cards to collect. To unlock one card, you must gather “its three parts” by opening packs.

Once you unlock a card, congratulations! The Commander associated with that card is yours! You’ll find it waiting for you in your game once you fire up your console. These Commanders include some new additions from our Military Commander Key Cards set, making this a great way to guarantee that you get certain Commanders from that set.

• (NOTE: You can only receive the same Commander in the game once after unlocking its card. You cannot receive the same Commander twice.)

You’ll also unlock that Commander’s personal story (some fictional, others based on real-life figures) on the War Heroes Legends website.

Additionally, you can get duplicate cards by opening card packs and completing the Commander card more than once (ex: you got parts of the same Commander six times).

With a duplicate, you can:

• Send it as a gift.
  • You can find any player through their gamertag and selecting the platform they are on. The SEND GIFT feature will cost you 1 Battle Token, and you can send up to 10 gifts per week.
• Destroy it.
  • By destroying the duplicate, you will lose the three parts of that card but will receive one Battle Token to use in other collections. You can only destroy one card per day (between 00:01 UTC to 23:59 UTC).

Each Commander card has its own drop rate (Commanders awarded in game are 2D and Standard unless noted otherwise):

Whenever you complete a Commander card (get three parts of the same Commander), you also have a small chance of receiving a Secret Lucky Gift! You can only get it once per Commander, meaning there are twenty Secret Gifts in total throughout War Heroes Legends.

Commander Card Collections

As mentioned above, you’ll have four collections to explore throughout the event. Each collection runs on a specific timeframe:

Once a card collection’s themed event begins, it will remain available until the end of War Heroes Legends. The Main Challenge runs through July 17th, but the War Heroes website will allow you to use Battle Tokens, destroy cards, send cards to friends, and invoice items in game through July 24th.

Themed Rewards for Each Collection

2D and 3D Commanders aren’t the only rewards you can earn. By getting all five Commanders for a collection, you’ll unlock that theme’s reward through the website. To claim it, press CLAIM in the relevant section.

The collection-specific rewards are as follows:

• D-Day:
  • All Gave Some. Some Gave All. Inscription (3)
  • x2 Vehicle XP Booster (10)
• Tankfest:
  • Badger Badger Badger Inscription (3)
  • x4 Commander XP Booster (10)
• July 4th:
  • Let Freedom Reign Inscription (3)
  • x1.25 Silver Booster (10)
• Bastille Day
  • France First Inscription (3)
  • x2 Free XP Booster (10)

Immediately after you click CLAIM on the site, these rewards will be invoiced to your in-game account and will be waiting for you in your garage.

In-Game Rewards for the War Heroes Legends Main Challenge

Completing each collection is your main goal, but the War Heroes Legends Main Challenge also gives you the opportunity to earn additional in-game rewards. Details below.

Final Reward: Completing All Collections

Completing all four collections is the main objective of War Heroes Legends. Why? Because at the end of it all, you can pick one of the following tanks:

• Kanonenjagdpanzer (Value: 4,000,000 Silver)
• T-72 Ural (Value: 4,000,000 Silver)
• WZ-120-1G FT (Value: 4,080,000 Silver)
• King Dragon Type 59 (Value: 3,920,000 Silver)

Select the tank you want, and it’ll be sent to you in game.

NOTE: If you own any of the tanks above and choose it as your reward, you’ll receive its value in Silver instead.

And remember:

• The Main Challenge runs through July 17th, but the War Heroes website will allow you to use Battle Tokens, destroy cards, send cards to friends, and invoice items in game through July 24th.
