The light tanks in the WZ-132-1 line are the latest to receive updates. Check out the changes made!

Tanks Reforged is the initiative that overhauls vehicles from World War II mode and brings them in line with today’s battle standards.

In this edition, the light tanks from Tiers VI through X in the WZ-132-1 line get reforged for better gun handling to allow for more active roles on the battlefield. However, the team wasn’t content to stop there. A Premium German medium tank that they felt deserved attention also made its way into the mix!

TECH TREE TANKS

Chinese Tier X WZ-132-1 Light Tank

The WZ-132-1 has significantly more armor than other Tier X lights, which led to it having reduced stats in most other areas to offset this factor. However, while its armor is much better, the armor has provided no significant protection in battle to warrant the various shortcomings.

In this Tanks Reforged, we improved the WZ-132-1’s speed limits, gun handling while moving, general gun handling, and view range. All these changes combined should improve its ability to play as a more active scout.

Chinese Tier IX WZ-132A Light Tank

We improved the general gun handling, which allows this tank to land more accurate shots while playing an active role. This includes gun depression that’s a touch better (which you’ll see throughout the line), improved penetration loss over distance, and increased turret rotation speed.

We improved the gun depression by a degree for all turrets and guns and also improved the penetration dropoff for the standard AP round.

German Tier IX T 55A Medium Tank

The T 55A received an improved reload time to offset its differences with the Kampfpanzer 50 t so that it has superior DPM to set itself apart. This along with the increased penetration should make for a more formidable opponent on the battlefield.
