These newly updated hard-hitters are perfect for taking on March’s Challenges. Take a look below at their balance changes!
Tanks Reforged is the initiative that overhauls vehicles from World War II mode and brings them in line with today’s battle standards.
For this edition, the team has updated a string of turreted tank destroyers in the U.S. Tech Tree, along with additional Premium and Mercenary tanks. With their new stats, these monsters of the assault are even better poised to lead you to victory in special events like the March Challenge or the Boot Camp series of chained goals!
Take a look at the rebalancing details below to start. Then continue reading to see how to make the Tech Tree vehicles yours with On-Track!
TECH TREE VEHICLES
Because the T110E4 was updated as part of Reforged Legends, we will be reviewing this line starting at Tier IX.
American Tier IX T30 Tank Destroyer
The T30 received the armor improvements made previously to the T34 heavy tank to help improve its survivability. Along with this, we’ve reduced the impact that rotating your turret has on your reticle to keep the reticle tighter when tracking moving targets.
Details:
American Tier VIII T28 Prototype Tank Destroyer
The turret armor received a much-needed increase for the T28 Prototype’s assault-style role, which will allow it to perform better and deflect additional rounds. To help keep up a bit better with moving targets, the turret rotation speed has been increased. You’ll also see a decrease in the penalties for rotating your turret.
Details:
American Tier VII T25/2 Tank Destroyer
This vehicle was generally doing well, but it received an improved turret traverse speed over the stock turret as well as improved general mobility. Previously, it was a bit sluggish and had difficulty reaching its top speed. With the improved terrain resistance values, it should feel better to play, especially coming from the Hellcat, as these changes allow it to access the full extent of its mobility.
Details:
American Tier VI M18 Hellcat Tank Destroyer
When the Hellcat is fully upgraded, it’s hell on wheels, but the weapons getting to that point needed some improvements.
We focused on reducing the penalties with movement so you can get shots off more quickly when coming to a stop. This was especially important for these weapons as they didn’t trade damage very well. They can now shoot faster and aim quicker to make up for their lack of penetration and damage.
Details:
American Tier V T67 Tank Destroyer
Similar to the Hellcat, once fully upgraded, the T67 can take care of business. The focus was to improve the performance of the lower-tier guns. The improved after-shot dispersions allow your aim to keep up with the rate of fire so that you can make use of the quick reload for more accurate shots.
Details:
American Tier IV M8A1 Tank Destroyer
Received improvements to the stock gun as well as general improvements to reduce the impact of moving so that you can engage more quickly once stopping.
Details:
German Tier V VK 65.01 (H) Heavy Tank
This change was missed in the previous Tanks Reforged update.
Details:
PREMIUM VEHICLES
American Tier VIII Demolisher T28 Tank Destroyer
Similar to the Tech Tree tank, the Demolisher received the improved armor layout and dispersion penalties and now also has reduced movement penalties due to its slightly better top speed.
Details:
Japanese Tier VIII The Nameless Heavy Tank
This tank has great mobility, solid armor, and an effective gun that is still holding up today. It has always struggled with gun depression, an issue that was exacerbated by its height.
Now, while frontally the tank will still struggle to aim down on closer enemies, its gun depression has been greatly improved over the sides to help when you’re being flanked or if you can safely expose your side to engage the enemy in a peek-and-shoot movement.

MERCENARY VEHICLE
Mercenary Tier VIII Cruncher Medium Tank
The improved frontal turret armor, combined with the appliqué armor, should provide better protection for making use of ridgelines to engage enemies. The improved aim time and view range should also help it perform better for its medium tank playstyle and fit in with the other medium tank improvements made throughout the years.
