Tanks Reforged is the initiative that overhauls vehicles from World War II mode and brings them in line with today’s battle standards.

For this release, to celebrate the addition of three new Czechoslovakian Tech Tree tanks to Cold War mode, the team has updated their World War II counterparts—and then some! How have they reworked the last four tanks in the TVP T 50/51 line (and one of the line’s related Premium tanks)? There’s only one way to find out!

TECH TREE TANKS

Czechoslovakian Tier X TVP T 50/51 Medium Tank

The lack of armor, size of the tank, and low health pool have caused the TVP T 50/51 to have a low survival rate and a short lifespan. Instead of looking to increase the health pool to address this, however, we feel the essence of the TVP line revolves around the autoloader gun.

This is a case where the best defense is a good offense. The TVP needs to deliver its burst damage quickly so it can get out of the line of fire. So, we increased the clip rate back to 1.5s. We also adjusted the reload and ammo count so that this tank has the ammunition it needs for the duration of battle.

Czechoslovakian Tier IX Škoda T 50 Medium Tank

This tank does well once fully upgraded. However, we updated the initial guns so that you have slightly improved performance until you gain access to the top gun. We also increased the top speed to be between the Tier VIII and Tier X tanks.

Czechoslovakian Tier VIII TVP VTU Koncept Medium Tank

We changed the order of the turrets so that the upgraded turret is the TVP VTU Koncept. We did this because it provides slightly better armor protection due to its sloped armor, along with the additional armor improvements made. Most importantly, this turret allows for more gun depression for the various guns, which makes a big difference during battle.

We also added a new engine to improve the tank’s mobility, as it’s more reliant on being able to move due to the lack of usable armor. If that wasn’t enough, we also improved the penetration and reload of the guns to pull this package altogether.

Czechoslovakian Tier VII Konštrukta T-34/100 Medium Tank

We improved the stock gun’s penetration, but otherwise, this tank is doing well.

PREMIUM TANK

Czechoslovakian Tier VIII General T 27 Medium Tank

We improved the reload and clip rate to help this tank be a little more competitive with the Ragnarok. This allows The General to deliver its burst damage more quickly and accurately, improving its overall effectiveness in battle.

• Reload: 25 -> 24
• Clip Rate: 33.4 -> 40
• DPM: 1511 -> 1600
• After-shot dispersion: 3.5 -> 3
