Golden Week is a Japanese holiday celebrated at the end of April. And it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, Commander. This year, everyone participating in Golden Week 2024 will embark on an epic journey where special Golden and Silver Tickets can be earned and used to get the Tank Wheel’s rewards!

You’ll receive a Golden Ticket the first time you log in to the companion website. Make sure you return every day to collect your daily tickets, which will vary depending on the day you log in.

What Is the Tank Wheel?

The Tank Wheel is a virtual prize wheel created specifically for Golden Week 2024. There are two versions of the wheel: the Silver Wheel and the Golden Wheel. The rewards vary depending on the version of the wheel you spin. Every Golden or Silver Ticket you get will give you a chance to spin its respective wheel and win in-game prizes!

Here’s the gist of it:

  1. Log in to the companion website and select the version of the Wheel you want to spin.
    1. NOTE: You must have the correct tickets to spin. A Silver Ticket will NOT work on the Golden Wheel.
  2. Spin the wheel.
  3. Claim your reward.
    1. IMPORTANT: Once you’ve spun your chosen Wheel, you’ll have 24 HOURS TO COLLECT YOUR REWARD IN THE GAME. Log back in to the game ASAP!

Earning Golden Tickets

Golden Tickets are rare tickets that grant incredibly high-value rewards. Here are all the ways you can get them:

  • Receive one the first time you log in to the Golden Week website.
  • Log in to the companion website during the main Golden Week celebrations: April 29th and May 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
    • Days will be tracked in UTC from 00:00-23:59.
  • Get Golden Ticket codes from our website’s articles, our social media pages, and from our Community Contributors. More information is in the “Ticket Code Hunt” section below!
  • Complete Golden Ticket Challenges. Details below:

NOTE: Playing with Japanese tanks will grant you an extra battle bonus when you complete the Challenge. Ex: if you win a Multiplayer battle (or play a Multiplayer match) where you’ve earned at least 200 or more XP while playing a Japanese tank, that will count as two battles instead of one.

Earning Silver Tickets

Silver Tickets are more common than Golden Tickets, but they still give you chances at exciting prizes. Here are all the ways you can get them:

  • Log in everyday to the companion website. The only times you won’t receive a Silver Ticket are on April 29th and May 3rd, 4th, and 5th (when you’ll get a Golden Ticket instead).
    • Your days are tracked in UTC from 00:00-23:59.
  • Get Silver Ticket codes from our website’s articles, our social media pages, and from our Community Contributors. More information is in the “Ticket Code Hunt” section below!
  • Complete Silver Ticket Challenges. Details below:

Again, using Japanese vehicles will yield you a +1 battle bonus. In other words, each time you use a Japanese vehicle and earn at least 200 XP or more in a Multiplayer battle, it’ll count as two battles instead of one.

NOTE: This code will be available only to the first 1,000 10,000 Commanders (Information updated on April 23rd) who claim it between this article's publishing day (April 23rd) and April 25th 23:59 UTC. Ticket codes will have a limited number that can be claimed. So, make sure you check in frequently.

FAQ

How long will the Golden Week event and the Tank Wheel be available?

The event will be live starting at 10:01 UTC on Tuesday, April 23rd, and will end at 08:59 UTC on Tuesday, May 7th. This is the time period when you can earn Tickets.

On May 7th, you’ll still be able to claim any Tickets you earned in-game the day before. You’ll have 48 hours starting from 10:00 UTC on May 7th to log in and use your Tickets to spin the wheel. After that, you’ll have 24 hours to log back into the game and claim your prize(s).

The event website will be live for the entire month of May.

I just finished a Challenge. Where’s my Ticket?

On its way! Once you complete a Challenge, your Ticket should appear within the next few minutes. The Ticket’s invoice will be as close as possible to real time, but if it doesn’t show up, we recommend that you play another battle for your account to sync.

Do my Tickets expire?

Your Tickets will remain active until the end of the event on May 7th 08:59 UTC.

How do I claim my reward(s) after spinning the Tank Wheel?

After spinning the Tank Wheel, you’ll have 24 hours to log back into the game, where you can claim your reward. You MUST go back in the game to claim the relevant reward. Please make sure you allow for any downtime due to game updates. In those cases, the time will still count.

I don't see my Golden/Silver Tickets in my account. What should I do?

Please log out of the Golden Wheel website and log back in to sync your data.
