What can be better than one holiday? Four holidays in one week! That’s the premise of Golden Week, which is celebrated in Japan each year at the end of April and beginning of May.
In honor of this year’s festivities, we have something special prepared for you, Commander. Get ready to spin the World of Tanks Lucky Wheel!
The Lucky Wheel is a virtual prize wheel that we created especially for Golden Week. For every Golden Ticket or Silver Ticket you have, you’ll get a chance to spin the wheel and win an incredible in-game prize!

Below are answers to some questions you might have about this event.
How long will the Golden Week event and the Lucky Wheel be available?
The Golden Week event will be live starting at 10:01 UTC on Tuesday, April 25th. It will end at 23:59 UTC on Friday, May 5th. This is the time period when you can earn tickets.
On May 6th, you’ll still be able to claim any tickets you earned in game the day before. You’ll have 48 hours starting from 10:00 UTC on May 6th to log in and use your tickets to spin the wheel. After that, you’ll have 24 hours to log back into the game and claim your prize(s). (For tickets received by logging in to the Golden Week website and by redeeming promo codes, the countdown starts the moment you receive them.)
The event website will be live for the entire month of May.
What types of tickets can I get?
You can earn two types of tickets to spin the Lucky Wheel. Both types will award you a prize every time you spin the wheel:
Silver Tickets award smaller prizes but are easier to get.
Golden Tickets award larger prizes but are given out for bigger events, like in-game Challenges or Golden Week holidays.
Your tickets will be viewable on the event website.
How do I get tickets?
There are three ways to earn tickets:
By logging in to the Lucky Wheel website during the Golden Week event. Every day that you log in from April 25th through May 5th, you’ll receive one ticket. Most days will grant you a Silver Ticket, but on the four official Golden Week holidays, you’ll receive a Golden Ticket! Each new day starts at 00:00 UTC.

Constitution Memorial Day (May 3rd)
Greenery Day (May 4th)
Children's Day (May 5th)
By completing one (or both!) of the available Golden Week Challenges:
Golden Week Daily Wins: Each day, you can earn a Golden Ticket by winning 10 Multiplayer battles in either World War II or Cold War! Your ticket will be available to redeem on the event website after the following day's data sync. Each new day starts at 00:00 UTC.
Golden Week Quest I – IV: For each stage of this four-stage chained Challenge, you’ll need to play 25 Multiplayer battles (World War II or Cold War) and earn at least 100 XP in each one. You’ll receive a handsome reward for completing each stage. After Stage IV, you’ll find a Golden Ticket among your rewards! You’ll also receive an “onboarding” Golden Ticket after your first successful battle the first time you attempt this Challenge. This chained Challenge can be completed a total of three times.
By participating in competitions on our official social media channels. You’ll be able to earn promo codes that you can enter on the Golden Week Lucky Wheel to claim your Golden or Silver Ticket.
Why don’t my rewards, tickets, or Challenge progress look correct?
The Golden Week website is synced with the game daily around 10:00 UTC. This means that any of your in-game activity from today won’t appear on the site until tomorrow. However, tickets gained directly by logging in to the site or by entering promo codes will be shown instantly.
In other words, after 10:00 UTC, you’ll be able to view your most recent progress in the event’s in-game Challenges, see all the tickets you received from the previous day’s Challenges, and start using ticket to claim rich rewards.
Do my tickets expire?
Yes. All tickets will expire and be unusable after 48 hours from the time they became available on the website. After that, you will not have the option to use them to spin the wheel. You can check the time you have remaining to use each ticket on your Account Page on the Golden Week site.
For tickets received by logging in to the Golden Week website and by redeeming promo codes, the countdown starts the moment you receive them.
For tickets received from in-game Challenges, the countdown starts only after the daily sync of the game data. This means that if you earned two Golden Tickets in a single day, you will have two full days starting from the data sync at 10:00 UTC the next day to use them.
How do I claim my reward(s) after spinning the Lucky Wheel?
After spinning the Lucky Wheel, you have 24 hours to log back into the game, where you can claim your reward. You MUST go back in the game to claim the relevant reward. Please make sure you allow for any downtime due to game updates. In those cases, the time will still count.
