In May 1940, German forces invaded France. They advanced and drove Allied soldiers back toward the port city of Dunkirk, hoping to compel an end to World War II.

On May 26th, however, the British Royal Navy took advantage of the coastal location and began an operation that would evacuate over 338,000 British and French soldiers, which inspired Allied forces to continue fighting.

To commemorate what became known as the Battle of Dunkirk, you’ll be able to find a special Challenge and sales in game starting on Friday, May 26th. Read on to learn more about them!
