You just might have seen it elsewhere on this site: starting this February, we’re celebrating ten years of World of Tanks on console. Happy anniversary, community!

We’ll have special events all throughout the year, including a massive Earn Challenge every month that we’ll throw a spotlight on as part of our year-long Celebrations event.

And what better way is there to commemorate ten years of battle alongside tankers from around the world than with an event that brings everyone together for shared rewards?

Our first Celebrations Challenge, the Anniversary: Big X Community Event, begins on February 6th and is packed with rewards that the entire community will receive as soon as the goals are met.

Get ready for high-value boosters, exclusive 10th Anniversary garage gear and Cosmetics, and two Premium tanks: the Soviet Tier VI T-34-88 Medium Tank and the brand-new Swedish Tier III Lago M38 Light Tank!

New Tank: Swedish Tier III Lago M38 Light Tank

For those who enjoy starting with the foundations at the lower tiers, the Lago M38 provides a great demonstration of classic light-tank gameplay. Specifically, its rate of fire and damage per minute will help you take on the role of an active scout and hunt down enemies with ease.

Additionally, this tank has Preferential Matchmaking and will see tanks no higher than Tier IV in any of its matches. Get out there and have some fun with its premium Silver and Vehicle XP earn bonuses!

Anniversary: Big X - Community Event Details

To earn the Lago M38 and other rewards, you’ll need to earn points toward the Community Event points total, which will be visible throughout the event on the game’s main/start menu and on the Celebrations website.

There are three ways that you can earn points: one main “Anniversary: Points” goal and two bonus goals.

As you score points, you’ll contribute to the community’s total and complete goals.

Among the rewards are special 10th anniversary items:

See that “10th Anniversary” Emblem? That’s the first collectible Celebrations Emblem that you can earn this year. Each Celebrations Monthly Challenge will award a super-rare Celebrations Emblem upon completion of the Challenge or reaching the highest level. Twelve collectible Emblems in total will be available only in these Challenges! Can you collect them all?

And as for the final stage’s vehicle reward, please note that if you already own the T-34-88, then upon completion of the Challenge, you’ll be awarded its value in Silver (1,500,000 Silver) instead.
